Tom Israel Chairman and CEO Tom started his career at Ingleside in 1966 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's investing and operating activities. During his tenure, Ingleside and its affiliates have invested in numerous transactions as both lead and co-investor. From 1966 to 1981, Tom held various positions at ACLI International, which was a $3 billion corporation. At ACLI, Tom was a cocoa trader, Chief Financial Officer, Vice Chairman and Director. Tom currently serves as a Director of A.C. Israel Enterprises, Inc. and Griffin Land & Nurseries, Inc. (NASDAQ: "GRIF"). His other previous directorships include People's Drug Stores, Glenayre Technologies, Asbury Automotive Group, Culbro, and Prospect Capital. Tom is a Trustee and Treasurer of Phillips Academy, and Vice Chairman of Citizens for NYC. Tom received a BA from Yale University where he serves on the Dean's Council at the Medical School.
